Thanks for stopping by the blog for the Raton, New Mexico One Place Study hosted on WikiTree.
WikiTree is a free genealogy website, where genealogists collaborate on a single family tree.
A One Place Study is the study of the genealogy and history of a specific place.
Raton, New Mexico is a small town near the border with Colorado and is where I’ve lived for the last seven years.
In addition to the main study page for Raton, there are pages for each of the three cemeteries (Mount Calvary, Fairmont, and Fairview), and two house histories.
Currently, there are over 3.8k profiles for those born, married, lived, and died here. Once you have a profile on WikiTree and have connected to the one big global tree, you can check your connections to these profiles.
